Professional Organisations

Organisational Membership of the GHSC is available solely to professional bodies that represent/register individual practitioners in the field of Hypnotherapy and/or NLP.  If you are involved in the administration of a relevant professional body and would like to apply for Organisational Membership, please contact our headquarters' address below for further information.

Training Schools

Training Schools that make a successful application to the GHSC for one or more of their practitioner courses to be assessed and validated are eligible for Affiliation with the GHSC. If you operate a Hypnotherapy / NLP Training School and would like to apply for course assessment (and subsequent affiliation), you may download the relevant documentation from:  GHSC Course Assessment

Practitioners

Individual practitioners cannot join the GHSC but may apply for Registration with the GHSC's administering body, the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR). If you practice Hypnotherapy and/or NLP and would like to apply for registration, you may download the relevant application material from:

Please note that as the promotion of unity within the profession is paramount to the GHSC's original founding principles and ongoing endeavours, it is a condition of membership/affiliation that no Professional Body or Training School shall denigrate another organisation (or its officers, products or services) within the field, or encourage, facilitate or otherwise assist the promulgation of such by any other organisation or individual. With regard to Internet based social media, Professional Bodies and Training Schools should take particular care not to allow posting to any media they control which is critical of other organisations. In this respect, the GHSC may request any member or affiliated organisation to remove threads or discussions which it deems divisive or otherwise inappropriate.
